Manager Questions

1. Question:

The only step available for me “Poor Feedback on Reference Check” - What did I do wrong?

You failed to move the employee off the Evergreen Requisition prior to this s

tep. Follow the steps contained in this Job Aid to move them.

2. Question:

I accidentally clicked “Poor Feedback on Reference Check” or another disposition reason. I am still considering this candidate, what do I do?

The HR Service Desk link should be used for Workday issues, payroll issues, benefit issues, and leave issues. The direct link to create a ticket is here:

3. Question:

I have an applicant who has applied, but I can’t take any action on them.

  1. Open your Recruiting Dashboard.

  2. Open the appropriate Requisition.

  3. Click the Candidates tab.

  4. Click the number under Awaiting Action.

  5. This is the person who has to take action on the application next.

  • If the person listed is a Candidate, they will need to login to the Finish Line Career Site to complete the task. https://finishline.wd1.myworkdayjobs.com/en-US/Store_Careers/login Once logged in, they can find the task under Pending Tasks.

  • If the person(s) listed are Finish Line employees, they will access the appropriate tasks via their Workday Inbox.

 

4. Question:

My applicant received an email stating their application is incomplete.

The Candidate will need to login to the Finish Line Career Site to complete the task. https://finishline.wd1.myworkdayjobs.com/en-US/Store_Careers/login Once logged in, they can find the task under Pending Tasks.

 

5. Question:

Who has to take the next action on a Candidate?

  1. Open your Recruiting Dashboard.

  2. Open the appropriate Requisition.

  3. Click the Candidates tab.

  4. Click the number under Awaiting Action.

  5. This is the person who has to take action on the application next.

  • Once logged in, open the original Job Application under My Applications.

  • Complete any tasks listed under Your Tasks.

 

6. Question:

I’m not getting any applicants. What gives?

All Candidates apply through Evergreen Requisitions. Candidates only appear on Job Requisitions once they have been moved.On your Recruiting Dashboard, make sure you are opening the Requisitions tagged Evergreen.

 

7. Question:

What is the difference between and Evergreen Requisition and a Job Requisition?

  • An Evergreen Requisition is what Candidates use to apply with us. It lasts forever - hence the name - Evergreen.

  • A Job Requisition allows us to define the exact position we want that Candidate to be considered for. For example, the Candidate applies on a Management Evergreen, once we get through the Interview process, we decide that they have the desire and experience to run a store for us one day, so we move them to the MIT Job Requisition, instead of the AM Job Requisition.

 

Candidate Questions

1. Question:

What do I do if I forgot my Candidate password?

Candidates can reset their Finish Line Careers password.

  1. Access https://finishline.wd1.myworkdayjobs.com/en-US/Store_Careers/login

  2. Click Forgot Password.

  3. Enter your email address.

  4. An email will be sent to you with a link. Click the link and you can define a new password.

 

2. Question:

I received an email stating my application is incomplete.
