DTLR Employees: Please use Kronos for any Time Off Requests.

Step

Actions - Review Your Employee’s Time Off Request

1.

Any pending time off requests will be pushed to your Inbox.

Once logged into Workday, go to your Inbox on your homepage under the Awaiting Your Action section. You can click Go to All Inbox Items to view all.

Click on the Time Off Request task in your inbox.

3.

(Optional) Enter your comment.

There are three available actions for Time Off Requests:

Approve: You approve the request. Click the green Approve button.

Send Back: You need additional information from the employee or the request needs to be modified before approval. Click the gray Send Back button.

Deny: You deny the request. Click More then click Deny.

Click the appropriate option.

Click Done.

Step

Actions - Edit Your Employee’s Time Off Request

1.

Once logged into Workday, click Team Time Off from the Menu.

2.

Click the Correct Time Off button in the Action section.

3.

Enter/select the Employee’s name in the Worker field.

4.

Click OK.

5.

Click on the calendar date that you wish to edit.

6.

IF you are correcting the request. Click the minus/remove button to delete the request for the specific date.

You can also edit the amount of hours requested. Check the box under the Select column next to the date and time you want to edit hours for. Go to the Daily Quantity section and change the amount.

Enter a comment.

9.

Click Submit. The calendar view will now be updated with the changes submitted.
