Dispositioning a Candidate - From an Evergreen

This job aid will provide managers with the steps to disposition aged candidates off of an Evergreen.

Log into Workday.

On the left hand side of the screen, click “Menu” to open your apps.

 

Then select the “Recruiting Dashboard” to review your candidates.

On your dashboard you will see a section labeled “My Requisitions”, click on one of your evergreens/ job requisitions to review your candidates.

  • Notice in parenthesis it will say Evergreen and be sure to take note the difference of an evergreen versus a linked job requisition, a job req will not have evergreen at the end of it.

When reviewing a job requisition and dispositioning candidates, please see the following workaid.

 

When reviewing the evergreen, click on the Candidates tab.

Filter candidates based on the Date Applied column. Select the filter condition as “is on or before” then select your Value as a date 60 days from the current date to filter only those older than 60 days old.

**You may also select “sort ascending” to sort oldest to newest.

After being filtered, choose the candidates you want to disposition, you will need to disposition them individually.

To do this, click on the candidate’s name under Job Application column to go to their Job Application.

On this page, you will click on the decline button at the bottom.

Then select the reason for declining the application, the options are reasonings are listed below:

  • Aged Application

    • Anything app older than 60 days.

  • Declined Offer

    • Candidate did not accept offer/position 

  • Do not proceed

    • Candidate you are not intending to move forward with

  • Do not proceed: Non-rehireable

    • Rehire that had a negative separation code

  • Do not Proceed: Consider for Future

    • Considering for Future

  • Under 18 years of age

    • Underage candidate
