Ongoing Voluntary Deduction
This job aid should help an employee navigate Workday and add an Ongoing Voluntary Deduction to be payroll deducted at the time of their choosing.
Step | Action |

1. | Login to Workday |
2. | In the Workday Search Bar > Type “Voluntary Deductions” When the report shows up click on it to view and maintain your Employee Relief and Finish Line Youth Foundation Deductions. |
3. | From the Voluntary Deductions Report You can View, Add, Edit, or Delete (only if it hasn’t been used) |
4. | To Add a Voluntary Deduction - One-time please follow the below steps From the Voluntary Deductions report - Click “Add” Then Choose the deduction you’re wanting to add

5. | Add an Ongoing Deduction by selection the following. Frequency - Select > Ongoing Start Date - Let the system grab the next available Start Date or input your own End Date - Leave it blank for ongoing or choose when you want the deduction to stop. Value - Choose the dollar amount you want to have deducted. Minimum - $1 Maximum - $150 Click OK to submit this.
