JD Finish Line - Hiring and Onboarding FAQs

Listed below are some frequently asked questions regarding the hiring/onboarding process and candidates.

 

Manager Questions

 

  • Question: The only step available for me “Poor Feedback on Reference Check” - What did I do wrong?

 

 

  • Question: I have an applicant who has applied, but I can’t take any action on them. What do I do?

    • Answer: Please look under the Awaiting Action section to see who is able to take action. Use the following job aid to help: How to Find the Awaiting Action Link

      • If the person listed is the candidate, they will need to login to the Finish Line Career Site to complete the task. https://finishline.wd1.myworkdayjobs.com/en-US/Store_Careers/login Once logged in, they can find the task under Pending Tasks.

      • If the person(s) listed are Finish Line employees, they will access the appropriate tasks via their Workday Inbox.

 

Once logged in, they can find the task under Pending Tasks.

 

Once logged in, open the original Job Application under My Applications.

Complete any tasks listed under Your Tasks.

 

  • Question: Why am I’m not getting any applicants?

    • Answer: All Candidates apply through Evergreen Requisitions. Candidates only appear on Job Requisitions once they have been moved.On your Recruiting Dashboard, make sure you are opening the Requisitions tagged Evergreen.

 

  • Question: What is the difference between and Evergreen Requisition and a Job Requisition?

    • Answer:

      • An Evergreen Requisition is what Candidates use to apply with us. It lasts forever - hence the name - Evergreen.

      • A Job Requisition allows us to define the exact position we want that Candidate to be considered for. For example, the Candidate applies on a Management Evergreen, once we get through the Interview process, we decide that they have the desire and experience to run a store for us one day, so we move them to the MIT Job Requisition, instead of the AM Job Requisition.

  • Question: What do I do if I forgot my Candidate password?
