Store Manager PTO Payout

This Job Aid will guide you through the process of requesting a PTO Pay Out. This benefit is only available for store management personnel who meet the criteria below:

  • As of September 30, 2022, you must have seven or more years of continuous service (based on your most recent hire date) and be in one of the following management roles: 

    • Store Manager (Hourly/Salaried)

    • Assistant Store Manager

    • Floor Manager

    • Supervisor

    • FLM Store Manager (Hourly/Salaried)

    • FLM Assistant Store Manager

    • FLM Stock Manager (Hourly/Salaried)

    • FLM General Manager

    • FLM Union Assistant Manager 

    • FLM Union Supervisor 

    • FLM City manager

    • FLM City Manager Hourly

    • FLM Stock Manager

    • FLM Supervisor PT

    • FLM Supervisor FT

    • JD Store Manager

    • JD Assistant Manager

    • JD Supervisor

    • JD Store Manager Hourly

    • FSMJD Assistant Store Manager

    • FSMJD Sr. Floor Manager

    • FSMJD Floor Manager

    • FSMJD Stockroom Manager

    • FSMJD Supervisor

    • Area Manager in Training

  • As of September 30, 2022, you must have used at least 40 hours of PTO during the calendar year (does not include Floating Holiday hours/unpaid time off requests). 

  • You have the available PTO hours to cash out. 

If you meet the eligibility requirements, you may request to cash out up to 40 hours, which will be paid to you on your regular paycheck on October 7, 2022.

The deadline for submitting this request is Saturday, October 1, 2022.

Once logged into Workday, click Time Off from the Menu.

Click Time Off under the Request section.

Select September 30th.

Click the Request Time Off button.

Click the Type drop down menu.

Select PTO Payout (Store Management).

Enter the number of hours you wish to cash-in (up to 40) into the Daily Quantity field.

Click Submit.

9.

Your request has been submitted for review. The Leaves team will review your request based upon the criteria outlined in the beginning of this tutorial. If for any reason the leaves team has questions or does not approve your request, the time off request will be sent back to you for review.

If approved, your PTO will be paid out on the paycheck dated October 7th.
