  1. I have a new hire that did not receive or does not have a Macy’s employee ID number.



Verify the start date. If it is a future date, the employee is not requested to be added to the Macy’s system until their hire date (With exclusion to weekends, accounts are only entered and approved on business days M, T, W, TH, F).

If the hire date has already passed, please create an HR Service Request and we can provide the Macy’s ID if available.

2. I have a recent transfer that is not in the Macy’s system.

We have an audit done monthly to process all transfers, corrections, and terminations ONCE a month, it begins at the beginning of every month until about mid-month. 

  • Please do not reach out regarding an employee not transferred to Macy's unless it has been more than a month and the employee is still not transferred.

 

3. Where are Macy’s ID numbers being sent?

All Macy's IDs will be sent to the store email address.
