Manager Role Assignment

The manager role gives access to manager functions inside of Workday. These functions give the manager access to modify their team including transferring, promoting, terminating employees and hiring and onboarding.

Who can be assigned the manager role?

This role can only be given to one employee per location. This employee must be in the Supervisory Organization above the store (they cannot be in the store). For example, in order to be given the manager role for Store 100, you would have to be in the Supervisory Organization above 100 which would be the District.

How do I tell if I have the manager role assigned?

If you have the manager role assigned, you will see the My Team icon within your Workday menu.

How do I get the manager role assigned?

If you are the manager of your location and you do not have access to the manager functions in Workday, contact your Area Manager. Your Area Manager will need to submit a ticket via JIRA to the HR Service Desk.
